There is a timeless appeal in the Welsh blanket. The classic geometry and bold colours have an almost modernist aesthetic and yet the technique is centuries old. Woven in one of the few working mills left in Wales where local knowledge is vital to its production, each blanket is a treasured heirloom. The Caernarfon Candy Pop blanket is woven with 80% lambswool and 20% angora which is ethically sourced from an environmentally conscious British spinner. This yarn is used for a lightweight and soft finish.

Samples are woven in Majeda's studio in London then sent to the mill for small batch production. Classic geometric designs in fresh bold colours can be bought as fabric by the metre or as throws and blankets.
